Senior Product Manager, AV/TV page is loaded Senior Product Manager, AV/TV Apply remote type Hybrid locations 24 The Warehouse Way, Auckland, New Zealand time type Full time posted on Posted 3 Days Ago job requisition id R88805 Position Summary Reporting to Group Head of AV, this is an experienced hire to support the achievement of the Market share, revenue and consolidated profit objectives through delivering relevant Portfolio, Pricing, Category and Marketing plans that support the achievement of these goals.

Critical to achievement of this goal is identifying and use of consumer insights to input into the preparation and execution of detailed consumer/B2 B marketing plans in addition to identifying new business opportunities and global best practice.

Role and Responsibilities Financial Management Ensure the success of AV portfolio in terms of units, market share, revenue and consolidated profit.

Tracking of market share and relative Samsung position.
Achieved Division PTO objectives for 1 H, and 2 H.
Manage sales revenue to reach agreed targets in conjunction with the Sales Team Director and BM.
Monitor and manage the sales performance to reach agreed company margin targets.

Ensure that all sales figures are agreed with the sales team and Head of Sales Provide goals and objectives to Product Managers to ensure company targets are understood and obtained Portfolio & Pricing Planning Lead the development of AV Division Product architecture, roadmap, and life cycle plans that support the achievement of long range planning with customers Ensure proactive life cycle management to maximise revenue and profitability Price setting of Max RRP, modelling and scenario planning that ensures Samsung maximises sales elasticity and profitability is well understood and can support trade-off discussions with the Commercial team Establish and utilise price choice modelling across Samsung launches and through product life cycle to maximise revenue and margin Ensure Portfolio teams provides up to date price lists that are maintained for the Product Group including price moves, analysis and price protection calculation.

Establish and lead monthly portfolio reviews to ensure latest Samsung thinking and alignment to internal stakeholders for excellence in commercial planning Supply Chain Management Work closely with both Samsung's internal and external customers to ensure that the supply chain is managed efficiently and effectively.

Focus needs to be put on GSCM KPIs to have the right balance of stock, to ensure our overall financial objectives are met, while at the same time maximising stock turns and stock management requirements Insight and Competitor Monitoring Ongoing monitoring of competitor portfolio and retailer portfolio strategies to define risks and opportunities for Samsung Weekly monitoring of competitor pricing and retailer pricing movements to define risks and opportunities for Samsung Close monitoring of retailer sales and performance to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities for Samsung to leverage Ensure Consumer and Market insight is developed into actionable insights and incorporated into marketing strategies; Monitor global market/consumer trends and capture relevant benchmarks to identify opportunities Product + Solution Knowledge Conduct product training to the retail salespeople, internal sales, Samsung representatives and service Staff.

Joint visits with sales team as and when required Ensure activities comply with acts and regulations as well as adhere to local and global Samsung Electronics policies.

Communicate with appropriate Export teams and Head Office in Korea regarding necessary information related to products at the direction of the Group Marketing Director Liaise with Head Office regarding product development, market trends and market pressures.

Ageing stock reports regularly Preparing product marketing plans to enhance the awareness and reputation of the company.
Develop and provide specialist product knowledge for the product range.

Skills and Qualifications Degree qualified preferable 5-10 years Product, Sales or Marketing Management experience preferably in a consumer electronics, telecommunications or FMCG environment Inspirational team management and leadership Sales and Financial management of significant sized business Strong planning, organisational and management skills Strong senior stakeholder communication and influencing skills Portfolio management of significant sized business Due to business needs and communication across business, proficiency in Korean language would be highly desirable#Li-Midsenior#Li-SEAO Samsung Electronics' environmental management philosophy derives from our core purpose of contributing to human life, with respect for nature.
