Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Worldline NZ Full time

Why we need you.

Worldline has long been a leader in local payments since we launched EFTPOS in 1989 (you might recognise us as Paymark). We've been an important part of New Zealand's growth as an economy, providing a trusted service for almost every Kiwi consumer.

Today we sit at the heart of Aotearoa's payments infrastructure with products being built using open banking technology and providing retailers with easy access to data about their own customers' habits. Our platform lets both tech start-ups and banking giants come together to provide better service to businesses and consumers.

As New Zealand's leading payments innovator, we specialise in payment solutions that help businesses grow – in-store, online and via mobile. We provide digital payments solutions for New Zealand businesses who need safe and secure payments, in turn giving Kiwi shoppers seamless payment options.

To support our next step in payments innovation, we're looking for a switched on and savvy Senior Product Manager to join our Online Products team. The role will join our eCommerce squad, a team with a proven track record in delivering initiatives.

The scope of this role includes software product management (Agile squad focused) to maintain our key eCommerce product, as well as launching a new eCommerce solution alongside technology teams, industry engagement, roadmap management, business model development, go-to-market execution, competitor analysis, operating processes, business case development and strategy.

You'll also be contributing to our shared product portfolio vision across the online products. As you can see this is a critical role for us as a business

What you are going to be doing in eComm in general:

·Driving the success of our eComm gateway – you'll ensure that our eComm products are delivering the right services to customers and are meeting our strategic and financial targets.

·Getting our products out the door – you'll be the key to getting new eComm product features, or even products into market, driving product plans, business cases and working with the sales & marketing team to implement effective sales, promotional and communication campaigns.

·Championing the eComm backlog – with the support of experienced Product Analysts, you will own, develop and document the eComm payments backlog, producing detailed requirements for the development team and other parts of the business who are involved in building our digital products.

·Driving lifecycle management – you will be responsible for managing the lifecycles for our eComm products and services, including those sourced from a third party.

·Building key relationships and identifying opportunities – you will be out there on the front lines building the key relationships with customers, strategic partners and suppliers to enable the business to build and sell our products.

What we need you to be good at:

We need you to be able to be the visionary for our digital products. That means you can easily switch from the detail of the product backlog to the big picture of what we're trying to achieve and ensure all these pieces fit together and complement each other.

We also need you to be the biggest and loudest champion of our eComm products. That means that you're easily able to bring anyone from our leadership team to a kiwi business owner on the journey of what we're trying to achieve and why it's so important.

You'll be an experienced People Leader and will be able to develop and motivate your direct reports with ease.

You have to be able to take calculated risks and learn from your mistakes. This requires you to clearly communicate to relevant stakeholders when you're taking a risk, analyse the potential consequences, develop a back-up plan should things go wrong and share the results regardless of what happens.

Do you qualify?

·Solid experience in product management, from ideation to delivery of a product or features to market (mandatory)

·Software product development and Agile methodologies (mandatory)

·People management (mandatory)

·Flexibility in working with our global team and attending a couple of nighttime calls (max) during the week

·High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, and Power BI (mandatory).

·Prior roles in financial services (preferred)

·Tertiary business degree (preferred).

Why join us?

We realise what's important to you and someone else can differ, so we offer a range of benefits to appeal to everyone, you included

-A beautiful new purpose-built office in the heart of Auckland CBD – Harbour Views, Bar, Café and Gym Onsite and top-notch technology (need we say more?)

-Our employee benefits package

-A generous bonus scheme

-A day off on your birthday

-A comprehensive culture & wellbeing program with an annual calendar of fantastic events

-Time out for an on-site subsidized massage

-AKiwi Saversuperannuation contribution and much more
