Who will you be working for?

Waikato Sheds has a reputation for quality service in the design and build of specialised sheds and shed kit sets.

They work closely with their customers to understand their needs and build executive sheds.

They are seeking a Construction Planner, to support the Operations Manager in the delivery of their projects following sales through to completion.

This is an opportunity to be part of one of the best shed building businesses in the industry.

What will you be doing?

  • Plan allocated builds and kitset supply, then communicate the plan with suppliers, the builders and clients
  • Ensure all components are ordered and delivered to site in full, on time and to specification
  • Review and manage job costings, communicating with the sales team on any variances and manage markups
  • Deal with customer enquiries, problem solve complaints and ensure CRM is up to date

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong attention to detail and great time management skills with an ability to work autonomously and to be self driven
  • Strong computer skills as 8090% of your day is scheduling and planning
  • Experience in the building products or similar industry would be advantageous
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. As a key member of the team, you must be ale to communicate clearly and interact well with the project team, subcontractors and the clients, building strong relationships
  • Calm manner, resilience and good energy
