About us:
Our Community Ministries here in Glenfield has various expressions of Ministry. Food Bank/support, Welfare assistance, Drop-in Centre, Financial Mentoring, Social work and various support groups. Also, we are supporting our neighbor centers in Albany and Hibiscus coast.
We are looking for a dynamic Manager, who can build team, take a good care of the team, and connect well with Community. They will be able to provide strategic leadership to our Community Ministries Centre and be proactive in meeting the Salvation Army Mission.
Fostering and enabling the delivery of services that effectively and sensitively respond to the needs of people who have experienced trauma, loss and hardship within our community.
About the Role:
We see this as a key role going forward in our Glenfield Salvation Army. Working with the local Corps Leadership, Mission Plans and other Community ministry centers in the area.
What will your responsibilities be:
- Providing integrated ministry with the Corps to the Community
- Manages the Community Ministries staff
- Oversees effective service and ministry delivery; Centre maintenance; staff development; plans and the Centre budget.
- Responsible for all day-to-day operations of Community Ministries
- Duties in line with the positive outcomes of the role.

This role is permanent/full time/37.5 per week.
The starting salary for this role will be $84,970.28 per annum
