  • BK75327We are currently recruiting for a PQS or Cost Planner to join a Wellington based team in the head office.


This role will report direct to the Head QS and will involve managing and reporting on all costs associated with assigned projects, from preparing estimates and budgets through to final account settlement.

Projects include Civil and Infrastructure works and Residential and Commercial building works.


In this role, you will secure profitable business with a brief and clear project estimate that is efficiently handed over to the project team.

Provide strategic input to tender documents, scoping and packaging of trades to achieve objectives in a timely and cost effective manner.

A key responsibility of this position is build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess a strong eye for detail and the ability to complete projects on time and within budget

What you will bring:

  • Preferably 57 years as a Construction or Professional QS.
  • Up to date knowledge of construction techniques, methodologies, and typologies.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification. Preferably BSc Quantity Surveying.
  • New Zealand construction experience and a legal right to work.
