Our Facilities Team is one of the functions of the Corporate and Shared Services Directorate at the Treasury. We provide administrative support for Property, Facilities and Security related activities at The Treasury.

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
We have an opportunity for a facilities advisor to join us and help with:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide training on external travel booking systems, process travel requests
  • Undertake onboarding/offboarding activities including vetting for all Treasury staff
  • Provide an efficient and effective reception service for visitors to the Treasury, maintaining accurate knowledge of staff and their portfolios, appropriately directing enquires
  • Coordinate conference centre meetings and forums which could include organisation of external providers
  • Coordinate basic day to day maintenance of Treasury's property and security assets

  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of people
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade constructively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective planning and organisational skills, including time management and prioritising work in a complex work environment
  • Work effectively as a team member and autonomously as and when required
  • High levels of integrity, with practised judgment and discretion
  • Experience with the MS Office suite to an intermediate level
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of people
