About the Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and overseeing events and managing front of house staff for various functions, including meetings, conferences, and weddings.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure the smooth running of events.
  • Managing all Front of House operations, including patron seating, customer service, and product purchasing.
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of the till, reporting wastage, and maintaining an uptodate Wastage Report.
  • Collaborating with the Chef to ensure product portioning consistency, implement cost control measures, and finalize RRPs of combo items.

This Role will Suit Someone with All or Some of the Following Background/Experience/Qualities:

  • Prior experience in event coordination and front of house management, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a proven track record in managing logistics and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management, including rostering, training, and development.
  • Proficient understanding of health and safety regulations, the Liquor Licence Act, and cost control principles in a hospitality setting.
