Your opportunity


As Country Manager, is to lead a cross-functional team to elevate our customer experience and partner with our Dealers to grow our business in New Zealand.


You will shaping the strategic sales plans and inspire innovative solutions to deliver excellence adapting to local needs within New Zealand.


Leadership and Collaboration:


This is a pivotal leadership role contributing to Nissan Oceania's ongoing success and will lead to a long-term career growth.

You will combine your ability to build collaborative relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders to optimize results and drive positive change.

You will work with cross-functional teams within New Zealand, Australia and as part of the larger region across the Middle East and Europe.

Your experience will ensure you confidently lead collaborative team work to ensure the New Zealand business has the support it needs to thrive.


Performance Excellence:

You directly own the Sales Plan. You have charge of establishing and executing a comprehensive Sales plan, ensuring both medium and long-term success. As you manage the Country team, your leadership will optimise efforts for maximum performance against set objectives. You will also shape the culture as a change agent, enhance team capabilities and succession planning.

Strategic Development and Budget Management:

Own the critical development, planning, and analysis for New Zealand, identifying opportunities and addressing gaps. Implement dealer media strategies, managing budgets with a focus on cost efficiencies. Ensure incentives align with approved programs while promoting new product and technical training initiatives throughout the dealer network. This role is also the lead role in representing Nissan across all stakeholders; government, industry and community organisations.

You will bring to this role

  • Senior Management/Leadership in multinational sales & marketing, ideally automotive and/or franchise development. You value your teams and can demonstrate your ability to work with a diverse team to bring them with you though change.
  • Strong sales strategy, execution, and problemsolving skills:

You are curious when faced with complex issues and can deliver to a longer term strategy while solving for the immediate operational problem.


  • Customer service focus, adept at building positive relationships and delivering results.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
