Your new role:


The Site Foreman plays a key role in the site based project team delivering security, nurse call, fire, MATV, access control and data systems that make up the Village Centre for the construction of large scale aged care facilities.

As the point of contact for all site based employees, you'll coordinate day to day operations according to plans and other construction service priorities, ensuring materials and machinery is available for use and all activities are conducted according to H&S standards.

Working client side, you'll be responsible for supervising and motivating the trade teams to ensure operations are on track to meet tight work schedules and client expectations.

This permanent role is paid hourly, based on a standard 44-hour/week, Monday to Friday.

About You:

  • As an experienced Foreman with large construction projects under your belt, you'll have a solid background either in the fire or security sector or other building services requiring cable laying and low voltage electronic installations.
  • Overseeing and directing a team of up to 10 site staff, you'll be a leader that motivates and brings out the best in your team, demonstrates excellent communication and of course a master at juggling multiple tasks while remaining calm and composed, setting a good example for others.
  • Detailed with your record keeping and administration of timesheets, equipment and H&S requirements.
  • Strong work ethic with focus on productivity, high standards and operating a well organised, safe working environment.
