About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Estimator, to join our NZ Door Group business, based in Auckland, NZ. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for new relationship development & management of the existing client base. New business developement and the ability to generate and convert leads will be criticial for success in this role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the sales team effort to complete tender quotes and details and achieve KIP's
  • Daily quoting and ordering of products in a timely manner
  • Detailing doors into system for production
  • Manage downloading tender documents, obtaining relevant drawings and schedules to enable efficient and effective quoting for sales team
  • Liaise with customers to ensure full information is provided for tenders to meet specifications, identify other companies who may be tendering and require a price from ASSA ABLOY
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to develop robust and competitive quotations for our customers
  • Liaise with internal operations and manufacturing teams to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Actively manager customer relationships via telephone and meetings
  • Provide market and competitor information back to the sales team
  • Identify new sales channels and potential product opportunities

About You

You will be a result and people-orientated professional, who can bring positive energy and work well in a small team environment. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • 3+ years' experience and successful performance in a previous in Sales Estimatoe position or similar role
  • Contruction industry experierience, with an established network. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferable
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to express relevant technical and non-technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to project mange successful delivery of completed jobs to customers
  • CAD and or SolidWorks experience
  • Demonstrate ability to hit KPI targets
