People and Culture Coordinator

About the opportunity
This position is permanent and full time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The position reports to the People and Culture Manager.

Whilst our main office is based at Lincoln, we do support a flexible working environment, with requests for both informal and formal flexible work arrangements given due consideration.


The purpose of this role is to provide effective support to the wider People and Culture team, ensuring that our processes are designed and implemented with a customer focus, utilising technology while meeting policy, procedures, and legislative requirements.

The role provides support to leaders on operational People and Culture activities through the employee lifecycle, including sourcing and selection, onboarding and offboarding.

The role also works alongside the People and Culture Business Partners to support the achievement of strategic initiatives.


The position also provides day to day People and Culture administration, coordination of changes in employment details and liaison with Payroll.


About you


You will have previous generalist experience providing HR support and advice, including sourcing and selection, NZ Employment Legislation, reviewing and implementing policies and processes and system changes.

A high standard of Microsoft products and systems experience is a must.

You'll be a strong administrator with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, sound computer literacy and a proactive approach. This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated team player to contribute to Manaaki Whenua.
