About the role:


Presbyterian Support Central (PSC) has recently made some changes to how we support and deliver our services and we are excited about the opportunities ahead to streamline our business so that we can continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those in our care.


The newly formed Business Services & Sustainability team is responsible for the delivery of business services within our organisation with the purposeful outcome of enabling the success of Enliven, Family Works, and the wider PSC while supporting us to achieve long term sustainability for many more years to come.


As the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager you will report to, and be working closely with the General Manager Business Services & Sustainability to grow the organisation's profile and brand recognition.

You will play a key role in the design and development of PSC's marketing, communications and fundraising strategy and manage the implementation of these plans.


As a marketing and communications 'generalist', some of your responsibilities include:

  • Marketing, communications and fundraising planning and delivery
  • Multichannel campaign creation
  • Content creation for multiple platforms
  • Collateral production and print management
  • Website and social media engagement
  • Proofing & editing
  • Media planning and advertising
  • Event management, and more.

About you


With a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related experience, you will have a track record in developing and delivering successful marketing campaigns and communications to a range of audiences using a variety of different channels and tools.

You'll be enthusiastic, organised, innovative, technology savvy and able to collaboratively identify opportunities and think creatively to find solutions.

Your confidence to communicate with a diverse range of people will enable you to easily navigate internal and external stakeholders to get the right outcomes.


While you will have a few direct reports you need to be comfortable working with a small team and able to be a do-er and real go-getter.

Perhaps you've had experience in a sole charge role in a smaller organisation and are looking to step take that next step into a larger complex business.


In addition, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience and proven success in a similar role.
  • A current full driver's license
  • Experience in managing or leading a team
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the PS Central region (Taranaki to Wellington) as required.
