**Kōrero mō te tūranga About your role**

We are seeking a registered mental health nurse to join our team as a care manager. You will work autonomously with your own caseload but with the support of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be part of an experienced group of mental health nurses and also have the support of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Team Leader.

You will be the contact person for your clients and co-ordinate their treatment and achieve the KPIs related to your role.

You will be on the duty roster weekly and assisting to preceptor students/ Nesps where appropriate.

Porirua CMHT is a multi-disciplinary team with Drs, Nurses, Social workers, Occupational Therapist, Psychologists and an Admin team. We are a team with a lot of experience and some of us have worked together for many years which demonstrates the stability of the team. We provide a range of treatments and therapies and provide a Dealing with Emotions group to our clients.

We enjoy celebrating achievements with shared lunches and doing the 5 minute quiz at lunchtime. As we are on the 8th floor of the BNZ Tower we enjoy the best views of Porirua and the harbor and have close interactions with other services in Porirua.

**Moū - About you**

We are looking for a registered mental health nurse who has some experience with working in the community but we are also willing to preceptor you into this role.

You will be confident in working autonomously managing your caseload with the support of the MDT. You may have some training in Talking Therapies and if not be willing to attend teaching sessions for this and other education relevant to your role.

It is important that you have a sense of humor and enjoy working within a team.
