Core Responsibilities ⢠  Overall management of the store and able to work independently ⢠  Ensure the overall business meets profit targets and operates smoothly⢠  Review and determine products in stock regularly⢠  Ensure that the service standards are on the highest level and constantly improve them⢠  Promote and advertise the storeâs goods and services⢠  Maintain security controls cash, keys, alarms and stock⢠  Set prices for goods, ensuring highest profit⢠  Develop and maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with suppliers⢠  Manage stock levels, stock control and records, including implementing stock control systems, stock tracking, purchasing, stock discounting and clearance⢠  Buying, controlling and analyzing the stock level of business ⢠  Determining store service standards ⢠  Keeping track of income and expenses and hold good understanding of accounting as per the business requirements⢠  Undertake budgeting, cash reconciliation, petty cash and banking⢠  Maintain records and documentation for the business⢠  Develop purchasing and marketing policies⢠  Advertising, pricing and promotion of products to maintain sales of business⢠  Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies⢠  Sell goods to customers, advise on and recommend products and add on products⢠  Follow up on customer complaints/comments and resolve⢠  Develop customer service standards to improve customer relations⢠  Recruit, select, orient, train and supervise other staff according to business needs⢠  Ensure the business has a sufficient level of staffing and staff rosters are prepared⢠  Ensure staff compliance with occupational health and safety regulations⢠  Efficient cleaning and maintenance duties are performed.
Requirements⢠  Hold a relevant diploma qualification or at least 3 year of supervisory work experience ⢠  It is advantage to have worked in supervisory position⢠  Experience in retail store is an advantage ⢠  Able to perform the tasks independently⢠  Position will require weekend, public holidays and some split shift working abilityÂ
Location â WellingtonHourly wage rate - $29.80Â Full Time - 30 hours week is guaranteed or more
