In our Hamilton branch, we are seeking an outstanding individual to join the service department as a skilled Foreman.

As a Foreman, your role will involve guiding and overseeing the workshop team to ensure apprentices receive necessary support, technicians have the tools required for efficient work, and optimal utilization of workshop resources to meet customer demands. Collaboration with the Service Manager is essential to ensure seamless operations between the field and workshop.



Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Support Service Manager in workflow management to ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality in the workshop to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Drive employee training and growth, particularly focusing on mentoring apprentices in technical skills and business practices.
  • Establish and monitor effective Service Department procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Service Manager to set annual department goals and budget in line with organizational objectives.
  • Check work orders for accuracy prior to customer invoicing.

Requirements for this role:
  • Heavy Diesel Qualification
  • Solid mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in leadership is advantageous, but a strong inclination to mentor and assist others in their development is crucial.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive workshop environment.
