The Te Whatu Ora Waikato Hapū Wānanga Team are on the lookout for someone with experience in women's health, passionate about Kaupapa Māori SUDI Prevention.

This is an exciting proactive role full of variety in coordinating and delivering the Safe Sleep programme.

If you are looking for a role that will make a difference to families living within vulnerable communities and you are wanting to work in an empowering way then this is the position for you.


You will be a confident presenter with great relationship skills, linking in with the national SUDI Prevention programme service specifications.

Supporting both secondary and primary maternity carers, PHOs', communities, whanau, hapu and iwi - caring for whānau in pregnancy and with under five year olds, to providing positive parenting awareness and screening for SUDI risk factors to increase the appropriate use of safe sleeping interventions for wāhine and whanau.


This is such a rewarding opportunity:

- to break barriers in offering and delivering Safe Sleeping interventions
