As a Senior Reporting Analyst, you will work closely with the Planning, Risk & Performance branch, Digital, Data & Insights (DDI) leadership team and their management teams to bring these opportunities to life by developing the structure, reports and objects which allow us to deliver data back to our audiences in formats which give the business the critical insights required for them to be confident in their decision making.


Your pride in your work will mean you are creating reporting solutions in a robust manner, that will best serve the team and our stakeholders - you will be working with a team who delivers strategic advice, analysis, and direction through our key relationships with the business.


You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing and developing reports, and ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and user-friendly.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our reporting infrastructure.

  • You are energetic and forward thinking and you will enjoy working in a team focused environment
  • the Planning & Performance team strongly believes we work best when we work together
  • You will have experience using visualisation tools to create dashboards and reports. The team currently uses powerBI
  • You will be able to analyse data and information to determine the validity and integrity of the data
  • You have strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • You will have clear communication skills. A large part of this role is understanding the needs of our stakeholders and communicating complex ideas to them. Therefore, being confident and able to clearly communicate complex ideas is a key skill required for this role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You will be confident engaging with our diverse stakeholders
  • You will have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI
  • You will have experience using programming languages to wrangle, mutate and present data

The team currently uses:
R, SQL, SAS

  • You display a high attention to detail, ensures accuracy, and are able to deliver to tight deadlines
  • You will be a passionate learner, always keen to pick up new skills and understand new ideas
  • You are flexible in approach and able to think creatively and critically in a fastpaced, dynamic, work environment
  • You have the ability to identify opportunities to improve reporting and process, and to work proactively to deliver improvements
