Our team are looking for an experienced
Innovation Process and Project Manager to join our Marketing team at Lion.

As our Innovation Process and Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by leading the innovation process and managing key innovation projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and administer the Innovation Stage Gate Process, building marketing capability to deliver timely, consistent, and robust gate papers.
  • Provide direction and recommendations to enable senior leaders to make effective decisions about innovation launches and product changes.
  • Continually review and improve the tools and processes we use to manage innovation at Lion.
  • Coach and develop key internal stakeholders on innovation technical skills and best practices.
  • Continually explore and identify new insights / ideas / trends to meet the growth aspiration and strategies.

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Expertise in leading and participating in Stage-Gate process ensuring quality output.
  • Demonstrated ability to think logically and rationally, particularly when dealing with high levels of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity and implement changes to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
  • Shows skills in ability to work effectively with others and stakeholder management.
  • Shows creative and critical thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • FMCG experience ideal.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification required
  • Marketing, Business or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in Marketing, Innovation or New Product Development
  • Previous experience operating in Stage-Gate framework.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams.
  • FMCG experience ideal.
