The Aero Maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring our aircraft safety, airworthiness, reliability, and standardisation, whilst meeting regulatory and company requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE


As our Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (L.A.M.E), you will be ensuring the safety and airworthiness of all aircraft owned and maintained by Super Air.


Duties include:

  • Taking the lead in maintaining a close working relationship with our three major maintenance providers.
  • Be our eyes on the ground to ensure our aircraft are maintained by our pilots and maintenance providers.
  • Reviewing logbooks held by our providers, carry out ARA's and ensure FlightCert is being managed appropriately.
  • Be the lead on resolving snags that occur out in the field by connecting with our wider support networks of regional Providers.
  • Plan and schedule nonoperational maintenance working with the Chief Pilot and National Operations Manager
  • Fleet planning with the Chief Pilot and national Operations Manager to ensure aircraft are available to work.
  • Work with the Inventory Controller to maintain appropriate levels of inventory for all aircraft in the fleet.

ABOUT YOU
You're a confident team player who understands the responsibilities of the company and the seriousness of the role.

You will be most suited to the role if you have:

  • Aircraft engineering experience with a LAME qualification.


An IA
  • Inspection Authorisation Certificate.
  • The qualifications to work on Pratt and Whitney PT6 ag turbines.
  • Experience on PAC Cresco and Fletcher type aircraft as well as Air Tractors.
  • A good understanding of rules and regulations pertaining to a Part 137 operator.
  • The ability to contribute constructively to the safety culture of Super Air.
