We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Transport Engineer to join us and be part our successful and growing Transport team in Wellington.

You will work with people across T+T and alongside our clients to deliver great outcomes for clients and the communities they work in.

Our Transport Engineers have analysed, designed, and constructed safe and integrated transport networks and land use development projects across NZ and Asia-Pacific.


We are proud to have been involved in planning and design of some of New Zealand's largest sustainable transport, and housing infrastructure projects such as Auckland's City Rail Link (CRL), the Kainga Ora large scale precinct programme in Auckland (Piritahi), and the Te Ara Tupua walking and cycling project.

We have on-going work in Let's Get Wellington Moving (LGWM) focussed on the People Friendly City Streets and Targeted Improvement programmes which complements our commissions with Wellington City Council on the Transitional Cycleways programme.

You will be contributing your skills across a diverse range of projects in a buoyant transport and infrastructure market across both NZ, Australia and Asia-Pacific.

The work is technically challenging, varied and will see you working with our both public and private sector clients to create transformational solutions to challenges.


We want you to use your traffic engineering skills in the delivery of transport and land development infrastructure projects ranging from road safety auditing through to the design of major transport infrastructure.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Member of a Professional Institute
  • Evidence of business development and project management skills, as applicable to your career grade, is advantageous.
  • Strong background in safety and multimodal transport infrastructure design across the land transport activity classes, and an ability to work across a wide range of
  • A proactive cando attitude, and appetite to play a role in addressing complex problems like climate change and sustainability
