Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand Pridelands Full time

We are seeking mentors to join our childcare family at Pride Lands
Pride Lands is more than just a regular childcare business; we are dedicated to the well-being of our children and teenagers.

At Pride Lands, our vision is straightforward yet powerful: "To guide children into adulthood, support as many children as possible, and offer assistance wherever and whenever needed." To bring this vision to life, we provide a variety of before and after school care and school holiday programs that focus on nurturing and supporting children and their families.

During their time at Pride Lands, children and teenagers receive unconditional support and assistance tailored to their individual needs. Our focus is on fostering pride, respect, and a positive outlook on the future among all young people.

We also actively engage with young individuals in our communities who are facing significant challenges and are at higher risk.

Our approach is unique and impactful.

The driving force behind Pride Lands is Moses, a true powerhouse and expert in connecting with children. He has a natural talent for forming connections, building trust, and empowering children to grow and succeed.

Moreover, Pride Lands has been refining a process to train others in Moses' methods, but we require individuals with the right mindset and skills to kickstart this initiative.

About You:
- You are 18 years or older, regardless of gender, ethnicity, education, qualifications, or experience.
- Your key quality is your passion for working with children and young people, with a talent for effective communication and interaction.
- You enjoy participating in children's activities, sharing laughter, and fostering a joyful environment.
- You possess energy, responsibility, innovation, and prioritize the needs of our young ones.
- You seek a purposeful job that goes beyond the traditional nine-to-five routine, impacting the lives of others significantly.
- You are interested in being part of a close-knit, locally owned company that values its employees like kin.
- You are open to full-time, part-time, or casual positions, willing to work at various locations including childcare centers, clients' homes, schools, events, and businesses across Wellington and the Hutt Valley.
- You have the ability to pass a police check for working with children, and having a first aid certificate and a valid driver's license is advantageous (though not mandatory).

The Essentials:
- Learn more about us on our website or explore our activities on our YouTube channel. If you resonate with our values and mission, we encourage you to apply.

PLEASE NOTE:
You must be a NZ citizen/resident or hold a valid Work Visa, and already be located in the Wellington area for us to consider your application.
