You'll be a registered nurse withfrontline management experience. You'll manage our Hillier Place service, a homelike environment that provides 24/7 crisisrespite care to up to five adults at any one time who are experiencing mentalhealth distress which prevents them from being able to remain in their homeenvironment. This setting provides short term crisis respite support, workingalongside clinical teams and GPs. The Team Coach for this service ideally needsto have excellent risk assessment skills, knowledge of mental health diagnosesand corresponding treatment options, strong relationship skills with ourstakeholders, and the ability to provide leadership and management of ourdedicated kaimahi.

As the team coach you will also support and coach ateam of support workers as they do their mahi working alongside guests, and useyour clinical expertise to guide best practice. You'll inspire everymember of your team to exceed their personal best and to be an active teamcontributor.

You'll also:

  • Be part of a leadership team, attend regular meetings and Team Coach professional development session
  • Contribute to a National rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis.

This is a permanent full-time role, workingMonday-Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, in Christchurch.

You | Mōu
Theideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a current NZ registrationwho has experience working in the mental health sector, ideally withmanagement and leadership knowledge.

You will have;

  • Experience in working with and an understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • Registered Nurse
  • A current full New Zealand driver's licence.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Ideally, you'll have knowledge of the Canterbury Health and Social Services sectors
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
