We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Draughting Team Leader to join our team in Christchurch. We are working on large, complex, and exciting projects, covering a range of sectors.

**About the role**

As the Team Leader, you will provide technical support, coaching and guidance to the team. Managing the delegation of workload across projects for conducting conceptual and detailed drafting to prepare for technical documentation, creation of scope changes, on-site construction investigations and reports.
- Plan and manage the workload, establish delivery timeframes, and track team progress
- Prepare work programs, quality assurance plans, and draughting budgets
- Provide technical leadership to the team and ensure their ongoing development, providing mentoring, guidance, and training
- Collaborate on fee proposals with other disciplines for key projects
- Drive collaboration on projects with other engineering disciplines, and architecture both internally and externally
- Co-ordinate project documentation with designers, contractors, and clients

**About you**
- NCEA and/or relevant tertiary qualification in Structural or Architectural Draughting Technology
- A minimum of 10 years+ experience modelling in Revit across a range of structural projects
- Experience coaching and managing teams
- Strong leadership skills, a role model for promoting high work standards for delivery of projects
- High level of technical skill using Revit, creation and maintaining of Revit families
- Demonstrate an ability to analyse technical designs and deliver solutions to complex problems
- Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of engineering principals
- Conversant with relevant NZ Building codes and statutory requirements and be motivated to learn and develop your expertise
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, empathy for others, sociable and friendly, with a positive drive and resilience
