This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow your recruitment career.

You will have the chance to work alongside an enthusiastic team and a Recruitment Manager dedicated to seeing her staff grow in their careers, providing learning and development opportunities and sharing the knowledge.

As well as working for an organisation that is focused on making a difference for New Zealanders with intellectual disabilities.


You will bring:

  • Strong customer service and administrative experience.
  • Experience in picking up new processes and procedures.
  • Creative sourcing ability through multiple platforms
  • Experienced using an ATS (_SnapHire would be an advantage_); or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships in multilocation environments
  • An effective team player who is happy to contribute to the team and the broader organisation
  • High adaptability to changing settings with an eye for continuous improvement
  • Cando, positive attitude and keen to work collaboratively

About the team:


The Recruitment team is responsible for recruiting staff for the IHC Group and its subsidiaries (IDEA Services, Choices NZ and Accessible Properties) and the HR employee lifecycle administration.

IHC employs over 4,000 people across the country, and we want to make sure we are bringing the right people for each role.

The IHC New Zealand team plays a critical role in actively supporting IHC's vision, using specialist expertise to make a real difference every day in our community through non-Government funded programmes.

This includes advocacy initiatives, volunteering, membership, fundraising and the library. Donations mainly support this work.


IHC New Zealand is part of the IHC Group of organisations and charities committed to supporting people with intellectual disabilities to lead satisfying lives in the community and to providing housing and tenancy services to people in need.
