Ko tā mātou mahi - Our RoleConstruction & Innovation - The Construction and Innovation (C&I) Group supports Kāinga Ora to grow its public and supported housing portfolio through the design and development of high quality homes that meet the needs of the community now and in the future, and by driving innovation across the construction sector.

We have a great culture, are values driven, engaged and work together as 'one team' to achieve our goals.The Senior Programme Coordinator provides support and guidance on coordination and operational processes to Programme Delivery and Project Support colleagues.
The position will help mentor project coordinators. Additionally, the role will assist the Manager with day to day team functions and leadership as requested.The Senior Programme Coordinator acts as 2IC in the absence of Manager, taking into account sharing and distributing leadership support across the team.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring- Significant programme/project coordination experience, including managing, coordinating, and executing high volume work programmes
- Ability to make decisions, can work independently with mínimal guidance in a dynamic and diverse environment
- Possessing leadership qualities and an interest to refine and develop own leadership, mentoring and project management abilities
- At least 5 years' experience in data management, analytics and reporting
- Strong ability to deal with large volumes of complex data, attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced/Expert proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge in Power BI and other similar reporting tools would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
