The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Client Services person to join our call centre in our Feilding clinic with a focus on companion animals. We run a well-equipped hospital offering a wide range of surgeries and advanced treatment options for our clients for both production and domestic animals.

Ideally, we are looking for a person who has the following:

  • A companion animal care certificate or similar
  • A passion for customer service, with excellent communication skills
  • Veterinary practice reception experience and knowledge
  • Previous experience in managing calls, booking diaries and appointments
  • Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to use initiative
  • Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on detail and going the extra mile

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing first point of contact for our CA clients over the phone
  • Booking appointments for clients
  • Answering animal health questions
  • Telephone contact and follow-up calls
  • Providing sales advice and product knowledge
  • Administration support for our veterinarians

Previous experience within a customer service, veterinary or call centre would be advantageous; however, training will be given to the right person who has the ability to fit in and contribute to the team environment.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week with participation in the Saturday call centre roster.
