We seek an enthusiastic Health in all Policies Advisor to join the National Public Health Service, Nelson Marlborough.

You will work on public policies across sectors and with communities in Te Tau Ihu with the aim of improving health and health equity.


Key aspects of the programme include increasing gains in the built and natural environment, promoting environmental sustainability through managing environmental effects, increasing health equity in partnership with iwi and assisting with the COVID response.

This is a permanent, part time position working 56 hours per fortnight (0.7FTE) - days are flexible/by negotiation.

You will have Health in all Policies approach, experience, or a background in health, education or community development.

You will have well-developed organisational, facilitation, planning and communication skills as well as knowledge of programme evaluation and the ability to build effective relationships with communities and supporting agencies.

You will be culturally competent and have a demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to health equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
