**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)**

The role offers psychological assessment and intervention for clients with health conditions, which significantly impact on their mental wellbeing, employing evidence-based techniques, collaborating with the health care team inpatient or outpatient to develop patient centre care that addresses the client psychological needs improving health and wellbeing.

The role has been designed for an experienced clinician who has excellent skills in relationship development and networking. You will have proven clinical expertise to support our system to be better integrated to improve our ability to be responsive, holistic, person centred and recovery focussed. You must demonstrate an awareness of the wider social determinants of health and you will ensure you contributions support the strengthening our system-wide priorities.

You will have not less than 12 months experience in health or clinical psychology, (including practicum experience during training), and experience in therapy with people with physical health difficulties and concerns.
