About the Role


Join our TEC Content team as part of our Products & Channels Group a Web Advisor; you will work alongside writers/editors and Content Developers to develop, publish and manage online content.


You will be responsible for:

  • Advising on the best digital solution on getting information to users
  • Ensuring government web standards and plain language requirements are met
  • Using your recordkeeping skills to maintain publishing records
  • Resolving user and stakeholder queries
  • Monitoring web performance using analytics tools and presenting insights to stakeholders to assist in decisionmaking
  • Liaising with web developers to resolve technical issues
  • Building strong connections across the organisation, and maximising opportunities for collaborating and knowledgesharing.

What we are looking for:

You will be ensuring content is developed in accordance with best content design principles, government web standards, Search Engine Optimisation best practice, and in-house style guides.


You will bring the following experience:

  • Relevant experience in working in online content development and publishing
  • Experience with Online Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Silverstripe
  • Good written communication skills to ensure content is in plain language and help craft clear, concise content for our audiences as needed
  • The ability to work on projects in an Agile environment as needed
  • Highly developed relationship management skills that enable you to work effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally
  • The ability to support and encourage team members to achieve collective goals.

The salary range for this position starts from $68,707 up to $80,832 + 3% KiwiSaver depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
