About the role:
We are welcoming a new group of Customer Service Representatives in full-time, permanent roles. These roles would be based in our modern office in Hamilton Central.


As a part of the Customer Care team you will be the first point of contact, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Genesis customers.

As someone who loves problem solving, you'll proactively seek opportunities to add value where it matters and will handle a variety of energy service-related calls.

This is a diverse and fast-paced role with great training and a fantastic, supportive team.


Our people are our greatest asset and to get you started we provide comprehensive training and on the job support.

You would work 40 hours per week with hours rostered Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. Rosters are published 3 weeks in advance so you can plan your life.

About you:

  • Prior experience in a customer service role, especially in a contact centre environment is preferred
  • Computer literate, with the confidence to navigate multiple systems
  • Resilient, adaptable and can think on your feet maintaining a positive and professional attitude in the face of changing circumstances
  • A helpful, approachable nature, focused on resolving customer inquiries in a positive and timely manner
  • Available to start a new role in midJanuary, eager to learn and grow as part of our high performing team
