About the Company:

Ravensdown is a farmer owned co-operative within the agricultural sector.

We exist to help our farmers optimise soil fertility and productivity to run their businesses in a profitable and sustainable way with a focus on lowering environmental impact.

Beyond fertiliser, we provide nutrient management services, technical advice and essential farm inputs delivered how, where and when they are needed by our customers.

We are looking for an energetic and creative Marketing Advisor to join our Marketing & Categories team.

You will be responsible for the promotion of a range of products and services and providing marketing support across the business.


About the Role:


As a Marketing Advisor at Ravensdown your core function will be to provide professional marketing advice for our business and its associated products and services with the aim to enhance our internal and external customer experience and support the company's strategic objectives.

You will work to ensure the professional delivery of marketing messages via relevant online and offline channels to our network, and assist, where needed, with our field days and events.


Key responsibilities:

  • Creation of content and marketing materials, including advertising, promotions, events and sponsorship activities, etc. in keeping with Brand Guidelines.
  • Owning the service and support requirements for promotional items.
  • Liaising with external advertising and media buying agencies, as well as promotional and printed collateral suppliers.
  • Developing and managing online channels and virtual presence including all websites, social media and enewsletters/blogs.
  • Analysis and reporting.

You'll possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to think outside the box. Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or significant business experience.
  • Exceptional written communications skills including grammar, punctuation, editing and proof reading.
  • Competency in the Microsoft suite, project management software such as Asana and working knowledge in Photoshop and InDesign.
  • A background in agriculture, science and/or sustainability initiatives desirable but not essential.
  • Video/digital media scripting and/or production experience, graphic design skills and photography skills would all be beneficial.
