Your role - tō tūranga

Reporting to the Resource Planning and Compliance Manager, you'll provide high quality coordination assistance with maintaining employees' certificates of competence and compliance records.

Administrative support will also be provided to the team as needed.

A busy and varied role, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the revalidation process for all ships' crews and exemption certificates as required
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across a range of tasks
  • Managing the crew inbox as a first point of contact for enquiries
  • Creating, maintaining and improving reporting
  • Analysing and identifying risks and opportunities


As a new role within our team, this is an ideal opportunity for you to make it your own and further build on the strong relationships across the organisation and with our external partners.

Your work will play an important part in ensuring Interislander's compliance requirements are met and maintained.

Your previous significant administration or coordination experience within a large, operational organisation will ensure your success in this role.

You'll be someone comfortable dealing with a wide range of people and enjoy juggling priorities and getting the mahi done.


Some flexibility is required, as from time to time you may be required to assist with disruptions and after-hours crewing issues.
