The Opportunity

To help us support our continually growing suite of Digital apps, we're in search of a Digital Product Owner to join a growing team striving to meet the demands of a digitally engaged business.

This is a key role in leading and being responsible for maximising the value of digital products created by our multi-disciplinary team.

The role is based at the Fulton Hogan Corporate office in Christchurch, reporting to the Digital Product Manager.


To succeed in this role you will be a confident & strong communicator with skills to build enduring relationships with key stakeholders in our business, possessing strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage a product through the product development lifecycle.

You will be Responsible Accountable for?

  • Product Owner for existing Digital products
  • Bridging the gap between the product strategy and development
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders from across the business
  • Managing product backlogs and organising development iterations
  • Working closely with a crossfunctional development team
  • Support the business with product issues and queries
  • Managing the rollout out current and future Apps into the business
  • Regular engagement with the operational business to build relationships, learn the variety of business needs, & foster the feedback loop for digital products
  • Business analysis for new Digital products in the Digital roadmap
What we need from you?

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with product owner or business analysis in mobile app development
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
  • JIRA & Confluence experience (preferred)
  • Salesforce experience (preferred)
