About the role


You'll be part of the future-focused and dynami physiotherapy team, helping Wintec do what it does best - turn out work-ready graduates.

You will be an experienced educator with skills and knowledge to undertake undergraduate teaching. You'll have the opportunity to be involved with special projects to support the ongoing development of the programme.

You will value working collaboratively in a team but able to work independently to deliver assigned teaching in the area of cultural responsiveness.

You'll have an appreciation and understanding of the local and national health care context and use your existing professional networks to develop the profession through engagement with relevant stakeholders.

Your experience, professional networks and formal qualifications will be key to the smooth running and efficient provision of quality education.


  • Able to utilise your knowledge and skills to facilitate learning amongst physiotherapy students across all years of the programme
  • Confident with face to face and online teaching methods
  • Engaged in ongoing education in the area of cultural responsiveness and curriculum development in allied health education
  • Able to utilise your deep knowledge of Te Ao Māori to facilitate learning of cultural responsiveness amongst physiotherapy students
