We are seeking a registered Social Worker who is dedicated to providing a comprehensive, integrated and progressive service to older people who are affected by mental illness.
The Mental Health Services for Older People at Counties Manukau District Health Board is a multi-disciplinary Mental Health service, consisting of an inpatient ward and community team, and is specifically tailored to those aged 65 years and over, although people under this age are sometimes seen due to their presentation.
We are seeking a Social Worker who will deliver equitable and culturally safe and responsive care and will ensure that the service user's needs will be met in a safe, welcoming environment that is free from judgement.
Essential:
- Registered Social Worker with current APC
- Current NZ driver's licence
- Previous experience within a relevant clinical setting, with 2 years postgraduate experience preferred
