About the role


Reporting to the Head of Transformation, the role takes accountability for driving and delivering the Technology Platform Programme, which includes API, Shared Core, Data, and Cloud and Infrastructure.


The key focus areas for the role include:

  • Ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Providing visible leadership and enabling effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Driving a culture of business accountability for delivery.
  • Providing recommendations to rightsize the delivery teams and allocation of resources.
  • Defining and implementing quality standards, conducting testing and validation, and performance monitoring.
  • Escalating and problemsolving issues and risks within the portfolio of work.

About you
To succeed in the role, you will confidently demonstrate:

  • Significant experience within Programme Management coupled with formal qualifications in programme management principles and methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of technology platforms, software development methodologies, and infrastructure components.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate programme objectives, facilitate collaboration, and resolve conflicts.
  • The ability to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, such as executives, team members, and vendors.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating risks, including conducting risk assessments, developing contingency plans, and proactively managing issues.
  • The ability to analyse complex situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
