As the Laboratory Manager, Waikato, the primary focus of this role will be to lead, manage, supporting and maintain Firth testing and QA services in the Waikato area.

This role will be based in our Te Rapa Plant Site.

Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

  • Management of all aspects of the Laboratory and daily operational functions in Waikato Region
  • Proactively develop operational relationship with internal and external clients
  • Administration of the Quality Management System
  • Develop employees through coaching and training
  • Provide reporting to all key stakeholders

Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu - What You Will Bring

  • At least 2+ years' work experience in a leadership or management role in a laboratory environment, preferably in the construction industry
  • You're a detail oriented, well organised person with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects
  • You're an excellent communicator both verbally and written and a person who can build long standing relationships
  • Experience of managing direct reports with a coaching and influencing emphasis
