About the Role


You will be responsible for processing of semen as part of the Semen Production team in order to meet production targets.

This is a permanent, full-time role which involves leading up to 30 seasonal staff.

Your key focuses in this role will include:

  • Recruiting
  • Staff training, supervision, auditing and maintenance of training records
  • Documentation development and review
  • Calibration and servicing of equipment
- 'Allocation' of LIC's LLL products

  • Involvement in technology and process change
  • Purchasing and stock management
  • During the season the peak season (Oct to Dec) this role is required to work on a rostered basis. _

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Great leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Laboratory experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A Good degree of computer literacy (database, spreadsheet, word processing, SAP)
  • Functional knowledge and experience of health and safety legislative requirements


A BSc or equivalent qualification is desirable however someone with a science background and/or laboratory experience will also be considered.

A current driver's licence is required.
