Look no further We're seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Team Leader at our Auckland manufacturing site.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations at our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and managing production staff to ensure the attainment of delivery, cost, quality, and productivity targets. Safety and adherence to standard operating procedures are paramount in this role.

This is a hands-on position where leadership is demonstrated through example on the production floor. You'll be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment, facilitating the flow of ideas and information between production and management teams. Over time, you'll become the go-to expert on our manufacturing processes, particularly in aluminum extrusion, cutting, machining, painting, and powder coating.

Our production relies on CNC machines (WEEKE and ELUMATIC), so any experience in programming or operating these machines would be advantageous.

This role serves as a launchpad for your career growth within our company. It's not just about managing production; it's about developing skills that could lead to roles in purchasing, planning, production management, or even product development.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Experience in CNC programming and machine operation
  • Engineering qualifications or a trade apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Previous leadership experience with small teams
