Purpose of the role
This is a permanent position which will take responsibility for managing a small team.

The Trustee Team Lead is a strategic role ensuring that balance is achieved at our customer centres by keeping our people at the heart, providing a great customer experience, and ensuring we remain a financial sustainable business.

The Trustee Team Lead coaches a team of Associate Trustees and Trustees to deliver great customer experiences and work as a cohesive team.


  • Responsibility for daytoday coaching and workflow management
  • Managing your team's performance and development
  • Being accountable for the team's overall performance
  • You will play an active role in business development activities and champion our values and strategic aspirations.
  • You will also manage a portfolio of medium to high complexity customers across a range of products and services.

What we're looking for

  • Trustee or related industry experience is an advantage
  • Experience resolving emotionally challenging or confrontational customer situations
  • Knowledge and experience of coaching and mentoring team members to proactively share knowledge, inspire, motivate and build trust
  • Ability to have difficult conversations, preferably within a team around nonperformance however customer examples of difficult conversations are also relevant
  • Specialist knowledge of our industry and products is not required as we provide full (extensive) training; however having a positive attitude, the ability to learn and problemsolve, as well as having integrity and resilience are integral to being successful in this role.
