New Zealand's leading general merchandise retailer is looking for an experienced manager with previous experience in a fast-paced high-volume retail or FMCG business to join their new Invercargill Store.

As a Department Manager, you'll be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Driving your team through motivating and coaching others
  • Merchandising & stock management
- replenishing, pricing and stock recovery

  • Overseeing/learning all store operations and Duty Management
  • H&S and Compliance Audits


 HR Functions
  • Recruitment, Performance Management & Plans
  • Provide exceptional service and resolution for your customers
  • Work collaboratively with your team to achieve results

About you:

  • Must have a prior and proven track record of managing large teams in a high volume, fastpaced environment.
  • Outgoing, driven and passionate about retail.
  • Strong ability to follow procedures and processes
  • Strong degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work as a team and autonomously
