The Opportunity

  • Looking for an opportunity as a nontraining Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar?
  • MidCentral District located in Palmerston North City could be the perfect place for you
  • MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. The hospital has a busy birthing suite with just under 2000 births a year within the District. During the last years we have improved our management of both spontaneous and induced labour with a multidisciplinary approach and a focus on the continuous auditing of outcomes. This has led to a decreased Caesarean Section rate.
In addition there are a range of gynaecological surgeries undertaken and opportunities for both Gynaecology and Obstetrics outpatient clinics.
