Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We're looking for an advisor to join our Facility Design and Advisory team who are based across Aotearoa.

This role will provide support to the Facility Design and Advisory work programme to implement and disseminate a comprehensive suite of design guidance, resources and policies for New Zealand health facilities.

Mōu | About you

You will be someone who has a keen eye for detail and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

You'll work closely with the principal advisors to support them in their delivery, while looking at ways to make things more efficient for your stakeholders and those in the team.

A strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly excel would be beneficial for you to succeed in this role.

The Facility Design and Advisory team is managed by a strong leader, who will harness your development with a look to the future.

As the team is spread across the country you will need to be comfortable working autonomously whilst being able to build strong relationships.

You will have:

  • Critical thinking and sound judgement, in particular, the ability to independently conduct desktop reviews, analyse and synthesise information, and develop options
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills in reporting, tracking and monitoring of projects
  • Previous experience planning meetings and taking detailed minutes
  • Previous experience with engaging different stakeholder groups and groups from a range of different cultural backgrounds
  • Previous experience coordinating tasks across multiple projects and progressing tasks based on program priorities and instruction.
  • Track record of forming and sustaining working relationships and the ability to collaborate and work with staff at all levels
  • Ability to make connections between the various aspects of the work program and see the wider implications for stakeholders and the Te Whatu Ora
