About the Role

The purpose of this role is to design, build, operationalise, secure and monitor data pipelines and data stores.

The role involves working with the Data Architect and Data Analysts to model implementation options and build technical solutions that meet business requirements.

The role also produces, tests and tunes code to agreed standards, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assists in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores.
  • Performs administrative tasks to provide accessibility, security and protection of data.
  • Reviews and analyses system specifications.
  • Executes test cases and analyses results.
  • Uses knowledge of data profiling and Data Quality concepts and techniques.
  • Support the Team Manager to deliver on the run and improve deliverables that are driven from the data warehouse.

This is an ideal opportunity for a someone who is looking to take the first step into the Data Warehouse Development space or for someone who has some experience but wanting to expand their skills.


The position holder will have:

  • Good knowledge of Data Profiling and Data Quality concepts and techniques
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience in ETL engineering, Python and dimensional data modelling
  • Understanding of Agile principles and techniques
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to solve problems
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and directed
  • Ability to work in teambased environments

The salary for this role starts at $54,108 up to $63,656+ which is negotiable depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
