We are currently looking for new and experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Waiheke Island. Our client has multiple intracerebral and cerebellar haematomas, cerebral palsy, and sensorineural hearing loss. Due to the complexity of the cares, commitment to the shifts is vital. They need assistance with daily chores, personal care, and medication. This is more than just a job - you will be providing invaluable support.
This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible
Requirements:
- Competency in epilesy management
- Competency in medication
- Hoist trainned
- Child specific First Aid
- Competency in CPR and emergency management
- Assisting clients with personal cares
- Confident to handle cares independently
- Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence
- Must be eligible to work in NZ
- Subject to clean police clearance check
- Able to commit to the shifts for a min of 30hours/week
- Training will be provided
