**Te** **kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Worker in Waiheke to join our team. Working closely with an experienced crew, this hands-on role requires you to work within crews on a day-to-day basis, optimizing the use of company resources and contributing to the successful completion of contracts.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

- Sitework and activities undertaken on a day-to-day basis in accordance with project plans and targets
- Promoting a safe and environmentally sound working environment and a culture of safe and responsible behaviours and attitudes, ensuring safety.
- Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
- Digging holes and shovelling excavated material onto conveyors, wheelbarrows and trucks for removal
- Spreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottoms and similar locations
- Being open and willing to develop your skillset and advance your career

You will need:

- A genuine zest for working in construction
- You will champion health and safety and act as a role model for others
- Strong communication and relationship building

- Excellent numerical and written communication skills
- Experience in contracting industry is preferred
