No longer will you sit in an office day-in day-out - you will be out and about marketing job seekers to prospective employers and supporting clients into sustainable employment.

Based in Christchurch, travel within the wider region will be required and a company vehicle will be provided.


This is a new contract with MSD in the region and we are looking for a vibrant enthusiastic person who can help our people to financial independence from benefit The road to employment with our clients is never straight, never predictable, and every step forward takes perseverance and resilience, but the success is there and rewarding.

About the role

  • Manage your own jobseeker caseload and employer portfolio
  • Engage and motivate jobseekers, working with them to identify their strengths and employment opportunities
  • Engage in networking activities to strengthen relationships with local business.
  • Generate your own leads and feel the buzz of placing people into sustainable work.
  • Ownership of the entire employment services process through to post
- placement support.

About you

  • Have enthusiasm and determination to help people find work, coach and develop our clients to positively address work pathways. Believe and embody a "work first approach"
  • Ability to confidently generate leads from a "cold call" and turn them into employment sales experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • An understanding of employers' needs and knowledge of a range of employment options/roles.
  • Passionate, committed and ethical approach to placing people into work.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify and sell a person's strengths and abilities and find solutions "outside the square"
  • Resilient demeanour with a positive outlook an absolute 'must have'
  • Proven results in an individual and team target driven environment
  • Case management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent time management and administration skills


Some 'life experience' This will give you the compassion, credibility, strength and wisdom to deal with challenges some of our longer-term unemployed clients.
