The Role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to lead the delivery of the financial accounting, monthly reporting and ongoing process and control improvements for the Finance team. This includes any future integration work through M&A.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Active involvement in the day-to-day financial operations.
  • Provide financial insights into business performance through delivery of financial and non-financial reporting.
  • Delivery of cash flow management processes.
  • People management of Finance staff.
  • Liaising with external auditors and accounting business partners
  • Provide strategic support to the Head of Finance and support the development of business strategies.
  • Statutory reporting, including consolidation of reporting and tax compliance obligations.
  • Involvement in IT management, solutions and implementation.

About You

This is a fast-paced and varied role at the heart of our small team. As such, we'd like you have some of the following skills and experience:

  • Must be Chartered Accountant qualified.
  • Current knowledge of NZ Accounting and Tax legislation.
  • Experience with system integration, international financial reporting requirements, and setting up reporting and control processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Sound commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
