  • AD74668We are currently seeking a Gate person / site security across the Wellington Region on new and exciting sites
- $25 - $29 pay rate

  • Long term position in Wellington City
  • Training can be provided
We provide the opportunity to work with some of the biggest commercial construction companies in Wellington. This Role is focused on keeping commercial sites safely monitored during operational hours.

The Gate-person will be responsible for managing the site thoroughfare and maintaining safe deliveries and or drop off's for the site.

You will be responsible for managing the flow of vehicle and foot traffic in and out of the site. There will be an element of labouring as well so a 'keen to get stuck in' attitude is a must

All we need from you:

  • Traffic Control ticket (level 1) preffered
  • Preferred to have a current F (forklift) license
  • Current or expired Site Safe Passport with an understanding of traffic safety
  • Previous construction experience
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with public and site workers
