Ko wai koe | About You
We are seeking non-training Surgical Registrars to join us from 29 January 2024.

The first 6 months of this position will be in Plastics and Reconstructive followed by one of the below non-training surgical specialties:

  • Cardiothoracic
  • General Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Ophthalmology
  • Otolaryngology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Paediatrics
  • Urology
  • Vascular, Endovascular and Transplant

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills & Experience

  • Completed PGY2 year or equivalent
  • Completion of your General Surgical Science Examination (GSSE) would be advantageous
  • A keen passion for surgery
  • You will have experience in a number of Surgical Services.
  • Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
  • A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
